You're Army Building LEGO Wrong
By Tyler, Portal Master Studios

Army building has always been a core part of the LEGO fandom, yet recently it's also become one of the most boring. I can't count how many of the exact same clone and stormtrooper army posts I've seen on Reddit and YouTube. Every single one is the same, and it is so boring!
Even worse, it's expensive. A lot of these battle packs cost $30 or more now, for a few figs and a horrible build. What are we doing? Look, do what you want. If you love buying up clones, don't stop because of me. But I think there are more interesting and unique things to build.

I've started scouting out prices on Ultron sentries for an upcoming army. Not only does almost no one have this, but they go for about a buck fifty online (starting at $1.50 on BrickLink). So cheap! Sure, Ultron himself is expensive, but you only need one of him.

But you can go even wackier than that, like this LEGO Plankton army I found, which just brings so much joy to my heart.

So before you start buying up whatever LEGO Star Wars slop you've been eating, think about doing something just a little unique for once.
What's the weirdest army you'd build? Reply and tell me. The best answers go in next week's issue.
